About our ministry

As many of you know. Seth and I have joined staff this summer in Colorado with Campus Crusade for Christ. While life is hectic between moving back and planning our wedding we have quite a task set before us. First off, leaving Clymer, NY to head to Fort Collins Colorado this summer certainly was an adventure! After being there only a couple of weeks with about a month to spare the transmission on our car died! It was definitely a lesson of patience and a time learning to fully trust in God as our provider and not ourselves. A lesson learned just in time for us to begin our new adventure as full-time staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. 

A Little Background: 

Seth and I both got involved in Campus Crusade for Christ while in college. Campus Crusade for Christ, soon to be called Cru, is a worldwide organization committed to making an eternal difference in people’s lives. This organization definitely did this for us! Our main objective is to give each person in the world the opportunity to say “yes” to Jesus. I spent this past year serving with our ministry in operations in Orlando, FL. God used me in ways we never planned or imagined. It was truly a blessing! 

"Here am I Lord, Send Me" 

We saw God move in tangible ways in the lives of college students and knew God was calling us to reach even more students in a different way. Sensing, His calling, we have joined the full-time staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. We are still unsure where we will be placed and will be announcing that soon! (so stay tuned!) 

What we do know: 

We will be serving with the US Campus Ministry reaching students in a very familiar yet foreign environment; online. Did you know that if Facebook was a country it would be the 3^rd largest. There are approximately 51 million college students on Facebook and the average user spends15 hours and 33 minutes on Facebook per month. Our desire is to bring hope into this new area. 

We are thrilled that God has called us to serve him in this way. Bill Bright always used to say “Reach the campus today, Reach the world tomorrow”. We can impact the future leaders of tomorrow with just one conversation. Think about it, this year’s incoming freshman could be the future President of the United States or the next Donald Trump. The decisions they make now will impact them forever and we are so blessed to be a part of what God is doing in their lives! 

Before we report to our assignment, we must raise our financial support. Like many other missionary organizations, we, as full-time staff, have the responsibility to develop a team of financial partners who provide the consistent, necessary finances for our ministry.
