Imagine

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" - Ephesians 3:20

Imagine. What are your hopes and dreams. As children our parents tell us that we can be anything and for the most part we grow up wishing that we'll be a firefighter, policeman, teacher or princess. Dreams. I remember those. It was a time before reality set in. College loans, rent, bills, a to-do list of a mile long. Day after day the stresses pour on and my dreams seem to slip away. What happened to my imagination? What happened to believing in the impossible. What happened to believing in the One who is able.

As I reflected on this verse I felt as if God had hit me by a two-by-four. How much am I believing in myself and how much am I truly believing that God is the Lord of all. He IS able to all that we could possibly imagine and so much more. All we have to do is dream, trust Him with our lives and He will bless us in ways we could never see. If i truly believed that God was able to do more than I could imagine how would my perspective of my bills (even as they pile up on the counter) change? Would I treat how I spent my money differently? Where would my hope lie?

He is able to do more in and through us.

Back in the swing

I know I know, enough time has gone by! I have been a phantom blogger long enough now it's time to go to work. So first up; a little recap on my life since December. 

Hmm December, let's see what...what important holiday was in December? Hmm..Oh yea that's right CHRISTMAS!! It was a great time being able to celebrate the birth of my Savior, Redeemer and Author of my life Jesus Christ!

Here is a rundown of my month:

I was able to experience Walt Disney World at Christmas! (photo credits to Amy Saunders)


Had a wonderful time with my and Seth's families! It was wierd seeing all the snow in the North and definitely made me feel blessed to be serving here in Florida this year! We did get to do some wedding planning too! October 8 will be here before we know it! (look for the new changes to us, our ministry and our blog as this year progresss!)

Left:  Pledge cards that about 900 students signed pledging to either put their faith in Christ, go on a Summer Project with Campus Crusade for Christ or dedicate a year of their life to full time vocational ministry! (Note: I signed this a year ago and here I am, God is so good :))
